Experiential Guided Tours of the Tactile Art Exhibition “A Tactile Exploration of Art”
Book an experiential guided tour of the tactile art exhibition led by guides with lived experience of blindness who participated in the artistic research and creation of the artworks, and explore art through all your senses.
The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation, within the framework of the TouchingART programme by the NGO amaka, hosts the multisensory and collaboratively curated exhibition of tactile artworks “A Tactile Exploration of Art.” The exhibition will be presented in the Foyer of the Amphitheatre of the Foundation’s Museum in Athens (level -3), from Wednesday, January 7 to Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Through these group experiential tours, visitors are invited to interact with the artworks and listen to the personal experiences of people with blindness, gaining a deeper understanding of what museum accessibility means in practice.
