“Chamber Music with the Idylle Piano Trio”
The B&E Goulandris Foundation’s much-loved concert series Jazz at the Museum, which this year is titled “Her Voice” and opens up to new musical paths embracing classical music, lyrical song and other forms of expression that highlight the timeless power of the musical arts, continues on Friday, April 3, with the Idylle Piano Trio in the performance “Chamber Music with the Idylle Piano Trio.”
The Idylle Piano Trio, consisting of Vasiliki Mazaraki (violin), Fotini Nikolopoulou (cello) and Ioanna Avraam (piano), presents an atmospheric evening dedicated to three iconic composers — Shostakovich, Rachmaninoff and Piazzolla — featuring a programme of great expressiveness and dramatic intensity: an explosive blend of tango, jazz and classical music.
Vasiliki Mazaraki collaborates with the Athens State Orchestra, the ERT Symphony Orchestra and the Greek National Opera. She also participates in musical ensembles active in the field of contemporary Greek music and has collaborated with prominent composers of entechno music. Fotini Nikolopoulou has been a permanent member of the Athens Municipality Symphony Orchestra since 2001. She has also appeared extensively in chamber music concerts, performing works from the classical repertoire in duo and trio formations as well as in various productions. Ioanna Avraam has appeared in numerous solo and chamber music concerts in Greece and France, collaborating with major musical ensembles, and has also taken part in recordings and competitions.

About the "Jazz at the Museum" series
The B&E Goulandris Foundation presents the concert series Jazz at the Museum, a programme dedicated to different currents of jazz. Once a month, jazz meets the visual arts at the Museum, taking us on a musical journey through the history of the genre, beginning in the B&E Goulandris Foundation Amphitheatre and under the artistic direction of Dimitris Tsakas.
After five successful years, this beloved concert series expands and evolves. It opens up to new musical paths, now embracing classical music, lyrical song and other forms of expression that highlight the timeless power of the musical art. The new thematic cycle, titled “Her Voice”, places women at the heart of the artistic exploration – as creators, performers and sources of inspiration. Through nine unique concerts, the programme explores the female presence and influence in the musical world, illuminating voice, experience, expression and creativity.
