Ntinos Manos & Athanasia Manou ft. Niovi Kritikou – “MelodHer”
The B&E Goulandris Foundation’s much-loved concert series Jazz at the Museum, which this year is titled “Her Voice” and opens up to new musical paths embracing classical music, lyrical song and other forms of expression that highlight the timeless power of the musical arts, welcomes the new year with the performance “MelodHer” by Ntinos Manos, Athanasia Manou and Niovi Kritikou on Friday, January 16.
Double bassist Ntinos Manos and harpist Athanasia Manou join forces in a poetic and unpredictable duo, performing works of the 20th century, original compositions and lyrical improvisations. Together they create a musical landscape rich in contrasts, colours and intensities. The programme, abundant in references and emotional nuances, embraces a wide spectrum of the musical scene, from contemporary classical music to more introspective, personal paths.
Through their collaboration with their friend, visual artist and art historian Niovi Kritikou, music is transformed into matter and form. Their musical compositions meet her works, which are inspired by their sounds and silences. Music becomes the driving force behind the visual expression, weaving a shared creative space into a live listening experience in which music functions as a narrative, connecting sound with image and bringing the viewer into contact with themselves.

About the "Jazz at the Museum" series
The B&E Goulandris Foundation presents the concert series Jazz at the Museum, a programme dedicated to different currents of jazz. Once a month, jazz meets the visual arts at the Museum, taking us on a musical journey through the history of the genre, beginning in the B&E Goulandris Foundation Amphitheatre and under the artistic direction of Dimitris Tsakas.
After five successful years, this beloved concert series expands and evolves. It opens up to new musical paths, now embracing classical music, lyrical song and other forms of expression that highlight the timeless power of the musical art. The new thematic cycle, titled “Her Voice”, places women at the heart of the artistic exploration – as creators, performers and sources of inspiration. Through nine unique concerts, the programme explores the female presence and influence in the musical world, illuminating voice, experience, expression and creativity.
