Sunny Side Trio – “Introducing Sunny Side Trio”
The new cycle of the B&E Goulandris Foundation’s much-loved concert series Jazz at the Museum, which this year is titled “Her Voice” and opens up to new musical paths embracing classical music, lyrical song and other forms of expression that highlight the timeless power of the musical arts, gets into the Christmas spirit and continues on Friday, December 26 with the Sunny Side Trio in the performance “Introducing Sunny Side Trio.”
At the presentation of their first album, titled Introducing Sunny Side Trio, the jazz ensemble breathes new life into beloved jazz standards while also performing original compositions, balancing between tradition and contemporary creation and highlighting the power of the female voice.
The three-member group Sunny Side Trio — Amalia Pavlou on vocals, Giorgos Moustakas on guitar and Yiorgos Pantazopoulos on double bass — was formed in the summer of 2021 in Corfu. Their aim is to share their love for jazz music and to explore the sound of a stripped-down, expressive ensemble, focusing on the interpretation of jazz standards and their own artistic aesthetic. They have presented their work at various music events across Greece and released their debut album in 2024.

About the "Jazz at the Museum" series
The B&E Goulandris Foundation presents the concert series Jazz at the Museum, a programme dedicated to different currents of jazz. Once a month, jazz meets the visual arts at the Museum, taking us on a musical journey through the history of the genre, beginning in the B&E Goulandris Foundation Amphitheatre and under the artistic direction of Dimitris Tsakas.
After five successful years, this beloved concert series expands and evolves. It opens up to new musical paths, now embracing classical music, lyrical song and other forms of expression that highlight the timeless power of the musical art. The new thematic cycle, titled “Her Voice”, places women at the heart of the artistic exploration – as creators, performers and sources of inspiration. Through nine unique concerts, the programme explores the female presence and influence in the musical world, illuminating voice, experience, expression and creativity.
