"Water Worlds — Beneath the Sea"
Summer Camp for children aged 6-11 at the B&E Goulandris Foundation (in Greek)
This summer, the B&E Goulandris Foundation invites children aged 6 to 11 on a journey of imagination, exploration and artistic creation. Through icebreaker games, painting workshops, collage, sculpture and installation art activities, children participating in the Summer Camp 2026 "Water Worlds — Beneath the Sea" will create their own magical underwater worlds inspired by water, light, islands and imaginary landscapes.
Drawing inspiration from works by renowned artists such as Kandinsky, Miró, Monet and Max Ernst, we will experiment with different materials, shapes and forms of storytelling. Along the way, the children will develop their imagination, collaborative skills and personal artistic expression. The week concludes with the creation of a collective installation—a "magical seabed" where the children's ideas, creatures and stories come together in a shared dreamlike world.
The B&E Goulandris Foundation Summer Camp will take place in two independent cycles, June 16 to June 19 and June 22 to June 26 (for the 1st cycle click HERE).
All activities take place at the B&E Goulandris Foundation, as well as at the Athens Conservatoire. A mid-morning snack is provided to children during the programme.
* All materials selected for the Summer Camp are child- and eco-friendly.
