"Super Shield!"

Breaking news! A new superhero has appeared in the city. Headlines speak of a mysterious hero — or could it be a heroine?

Drawing inspiration from the comic-book aesthetic of Roy Lichtenstein, the workshop “Super Shield!” invites children aged 5 to 7 to invent their own superhero and design their very own pop art shield. At the end, a WHAAM!! surprise awaits them: their heroes will make an appearance in the Museum’s very own “news”!

The workshop takes place within the framework of the temporary exhibition"From Monet to Warhol" presented at the Museum of the B&E Goulandris Foundation in Athens from December 6, 2025 to April 11, 2026. The exhibition brings to Greece, for the first time, part of a landmark private collection and three generations of collectors. Featuring 83 works by 45 internationally acclaimed artists, the collection takes us on a journey from Impressionism and Monet’s Water Lilies to Pop Art and Lichtenstein’s Water Lilies.
