"Young Composers - Young Soloists"

On Friday, May 30, the young soloists of the Synthesis Music Lab (Musical Workshop for Composition & Performance) will present works from the classical and contemporary repertoire, as well as new compositions by emerging creators, at the Amphitheatre of the B&E Goulandris Foundation. Admission is free, but online reservation is required.

The concert will feature members, alumni and friends of the workshop, which brings together young composers and performers with the aim of highlighting the younger generation of musicians through a dynamic dialogue between tradition and innovation.

Synthesis Music Lab is one of the most important programmes of the YRIART music network and was founded in 2002 by Alexandros Kalogeras (PhD), a composer, Harvard University doctorate holder and professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Its activities include the organisation of seminars and courses on symphonic and chamber music, free chamber music concerts, performances in elementary schools, kindergartens and preschools, as well as the delivery of related lectures.
