"Van Gogh" (1991) by Maurice Pialat

Μετά τον εγκλεισμό του σε άσυλο, ο Vincent Van Gogh εγκαθίσταται στο Auvers-sur-Oise, στο σπίτι του φιλότεχνου γιατρού Gachet. Οι τελευταίες μέρες του σημαδεύονται από συγκρούσεις με τον αδελφό του και την εύθραυστη ψυχική του υγεία. Γίνεται εραστής της Μαργκερίτ, κόρη του γιατρού που τον φιλοξενεί, αλλά εκείνη αντιλαμβάνεται γρήγορα ότι δεν την αγαπάει και μόνο η τέχνη του τον κρατάει στη ζωή.
