FROM MONET TO WARHOL

THREE GENERATIONS, ONE COLLECTION, A JOURNEY THROUGH THE EVOLUTION OF MODERN ART

06.12.2025 - 11.04.2026

The new major exhibition of the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation, opening to the public on Saturday, December 6, 2025, and running until April 11, 2026, presents 83 masterpieces by 45 world-renowned artists, drawn from a distinguished European private collection.

Starting from Impressionism and reaching Pop Art, visitors will have the opportunity to admire works representing more than 12 artistic movements (including Fauvism, Symbolism, Expressionism, Surrealism and others), spanning approximately 130 years of artistic creation in the history of art.

Leading representatives of these movements—many of whom will be exhibited in Greece for the first time—take part in this important exhibition tribute, including Bonnard, Chagall, De Kooning, Degas, Gauguin, Kandinsky, Lichtenstein, Magritte, Man Ray, Marquet, Matisse, Modigliani, Monet, Morisot, Munch, Picasso, Pissarro, Seurat, Signac, Toulouse-Lautrec, Warhol and others.

The exhibition is curated by Marie Koutsomallis-Moreau, Head of Collections at the B&E Goulandris Foundation, and Marina Ferretti, Scientific Director Emerita of the Musée des impressionnismes Giverny.
