Adding colour to moments

Can you imagine a world without colour?

As part of the tribute to photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, the B&E Goulandris Foundation invites children aged 6 to 8 to get acquainted with one of the most influential photographers of the 20^th century.

Drawing inspiration from important moments that Cartier-Bresson captured with his camera, we explore a black-and-white world as we seek colour with our imagination. Children select black and white photographs and try to recreate them, by mixing them up and adding colour while they make use of coloured paper, prints and motifs.
