Festive concert by the City of Athens Philharmonic Winds Orchestra
Christmas melodies at the Aghios Spyridonas square
On Monday December 30 at 11.30, the City of Athens Philharmonic Winds Orchestra will fill the Aghios Spyridonas square, in front of the entrance of the B&E Goulandris Foundation, with Christmas music and other well-known melodies.
The Orchestra was founded in 1885 and took part in the first Olympic Games in Athens, in 1896. It has performed in many concert venues and cities around Greece and has collaborated with world-renowned soloists such as Sokratis Anthis, Spyros Mourikis, Nikolaos Xanthoulis, Gregory Jones, Chen Rui.
