How can colour speak to our soul?

As part of the tribute to Nicholas Kontaxis that is on display at the B&E Goulandris Foundation, children aged 5-7 have the opportunity to immerse themselves in his vibrant world that is full of colour and emotion.

The ways that colour can influence our behaviour, mood and thoughts show us just how powerful colour really is. At the workshop “Catch the emotion” children explore how great artists have engaged with colour throughout history and then they focus on Nicholas Kontaxis' distinctive palette. By making use of many different colours, they are encouraged to connect with their inner world and express their feelings through interactive games, innovative tools, and creative techniques.

Our workshops are designed with inclusivity in mind, providing a welcoming and accessible environment where every child can participate and freely express themselves through the power of art.

Workshop for children aged 5-7 years

Every Saturday, from March 22 to May 17, 2025 (except April 19) | 10.00-11.15
* During the Easter period, the workshop will be held on Holy Wednesday, April 16 and Easter Wednesday, April 23 (10.00-11.15)
