Ceramic Jewelry

The B&E Goulandris Foundation, in collaboration with ceramist Elpida Kourtzi, is organising the pottery workshop for adults and teens (15+) “Ceramic Jewelry”.

At the “Ceramic Jewelry” workshop we will make unique ceramic jewelry pieces, inspired by the works of the B&E Goulandris Foundation Collection. Following the completion of all three parts, participants will take home their jewelry baked, glazed and gift-wrapped.

• In the first part, after an introduction to the dynamics of clay and the finesse of porcelain, participants will choose which material they want to use and then they will make their own small objects such as beads, earrings and brooches.

• In the second part, participants will learn the different glazing techniques.

• In the third part, participants will apply real 24-K gold on their baked and coloured ceramic jewelry, to highlight the details of their work.
