Christmas concert by the Athens Conservatoire Young Musicians Choir
Carols and all-time Christmas classics at the B&E Goulandris Foundation
On Saturday December 21 the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation and the Athens Conservatoire join forces once more for a festive concert featuring the Conservatoire’s Young Musicians Choir.
At the Foundation’s reception area, in front of the Christmas tree, the Young Musicians Choir will get the Museum’s visitors into the festive spirit with carols and other all-time Christmas classics, from 14.00 and for approximately half an hour.
The Young Musicians Choir is a result of the Athens Conservatoire’s “Young Musicians” programme, that provides scholarships to talented children aged 6 to 12 so that they can study music. Every year, the “Young Musicians” give a public concert to show their progress and skills, but mostly to inspire and encourage other children to embrace music.
