The Digital Games for Adults, the popular series of online guided tours designed in collaboration with the thallo programme especially for people over the age of 65, start once more with the programme “Narration in Art”.

Drawing inspiration from the B&E Goulandris Foundation’s new temporary exhibition “Memories Steeped in Dream” we study the narrative ideas of eight acclaimed 19th and 20th century artists. Characters jump out of the pages of novels and epic poems and mingle with acrobats and jugglers, unraveling the history of narration in art.

The Digital Games for Adults take place via Zoom free of charge and are accessible to people all over the world.

The Foundation’s online activities designed for people aged 65+ present new opportunities to people who do not have the opportunity to travel to Athens and see the Foundation’s Collection of works. In addition, they enhance creativity, they boost confidence and encourage the use of digital tools.

The new programme consists of four meetings, all inspired by the Foundation’s temporary exhibition.

  • October 5
  • Balthus – Wuthering Heights & Pablo Picasso
  • October 19
  • Georges Braque – Théogonie & Joan Miró
  • November 2
  • Fernand Léger – Cirque & Henri Matisse
  • November 16
  • Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec – 12 Lithographs & Aristide Maillol
