Digital Games for Adults: “The ‘old’ next to the ‘new’ - The two sides of Arte Povera”
Online activity for people aged 65+ and persons with Mild Cognitive Impairment of all ages
Comparisons of organic materials, the simple against the complex, the static against the dynamic, art and life. Rich in contradictions, the Arte Povera movement attempts, through its representatives, to encourage audiences to look beyond the surface of materials and seek the deeper meanings of life and existence.
Focusing on selected works from the “Nakis Panayotidis – Shut your Eyes and See” retrospective, the online activity invites participants to an experiential journey to the world of Nakis Panayotidis and the Arte Povera movement. Representatives, indicative works and controversial views guide us through the world of “poor” art that offers emotional richness through quizzes, games and creative dialogue.
We advise participants to have some aluminum foil sheets with them.
The Digital Games for Adults take place free of charge via Zoom and are open to people from all over the world!
The Foundation’s online activities for the elderly present new opportunities to people who are not able to travel to Athens and visit the Museum. They further enhance creativity, boost self-confidence and encourage the use of digital tools.
