About the Jazz at the Museum series

The B&E Goulandris Foundation presents Jazz at the Museum, a series of tribute concerts to different jazz genres. Once a month, jazz meets visual arts and together they take us on a music journey to the heart of jazz, at the B&E Goulandris Foundation Amphitheatre and under the artistic direction of Dimitris Tsakas.

In the latest series, great jazz bands present different aspects of the connection between jazz and poetry. The tribute kicked off with an evening dedicated to 20th century Jazz Poetry and Japanese haiku by the We Real Cool Quartet, continuing with a journey to Latin American poetry by Yoel Soto and Klety Sotiriadou and then a performance dedicated to Greek poetry, by Alex Drakos Ktistakis and Katerina Polemi.
