How can the Museum trigger the whole family’s imagination?
The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation invites children, along with their families, to discover the magical world and the stories that are hidden behind the unique works of art of the Museum’s Collection, through a series of interactive art activities.
During the guided tours, all family members visit the four floors of the Museum’s permanent Collection and they talk about the works of art that are on display. Following the instructions of their tour guide, they also take part in a series of group and individual activities inspired by surrealist games and the slow looking approach.
The family guided tours focus on participation, personal experience and free expression. They have been designed to create a shared experience, based on interaction, that enables all family members to get acquainted with the works of art.
