On Sunday December 26, 2021, from 10.00 to 14.00, the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation will run creative family workshops based on the work of Henri Matisse and Roy Lichtenstein at its Children’s Workshop.

Children and their parents/guardians will first get acquainted with the works and techniques of the two acclaimed artists and will then make their own original Christmas cards and ornaments.

What happens when, instead of colours, we use scissors to paint?

Have you ever wondered how many dots can fit in a painting?

How can we turn paper into a three-dimensional work of art?

At the Children’s Workshop of the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation we will provide the answers to all these questions as paper, colours and scissors will help the whole family make their own Christmas constructions.
