Games for Adults: "Browsing through Art"

What is the relationship between a novel’s leading character and an acrobat? Can Hesiod find himself at an opera balcony?

At this season’s popular Games for Adults, called “Browsing through Art”, inspired by the B&E Goulandris Foundation’s temporary exhibition “Memories Steeped in Dream” we meet the narrative in front of the works on display and we seek the meeting point between literature and other forms of art.

Participants gather at the temporary exhibition gallery and explore the work of great writers, match sounds to some of the Collection’s famous works, create their own narrative and dream of the worlds revealed in books.

The programme features two alternating versions that focus on different works:

• Balthus – Wuthering Heights
• Fernand Léger – Cirque
• Henri Matisse – Selected works
