Does a painting have anything to do with mathematics? How does the viewer perceive an artistic composition?

In the new programme of the “Game for Adults” series, as part of the new temporary exhibition of the B&E Goulandris Foundation “Neoimpressionism in the colours of the Mediterranean” we travel to the French Riviera, from Marseille and Toulon to Saint-Tropez and Antibes, and surrender ourselves to the brushstrokes of Signac, Cross and Van Rysselberghe, exploring art at the end of the 19th century.

Together with the participants, we explore selected works of the temporary exhibition, discuss the before and after of Neoimpressionism and compose our own landscape. We connect the dots trusting our eyes and minds to do the final blending of the colours of the image.
