Due to popular demand and the high interest surrounding the George Rorris retrospective, currently on display at the B&E Goulandris Foundation’s Museum of Contemporary Art in Andros, the Foundation gives visitors the opportunity to attend two guided tours conducted by the artist, on Saturday July 24 and Sunday July 25, at 19.00-20.30 and 12.00-13.30 respectively.

Titled The nobleness of purity, the retrospective features approximately 60 paintings and drawings, in an attempt to trace George Rorris’ evolution through three thematic sections: the artist’s relationship with his studio, the influences he received from his teachers and the ceaseless exploration of the body - mostly the female body - made of “flesh and bones”.

The guided tours will be conducted in Greek.
