Illuminated Screens!
Workshop for children aged 7-9
What is the connection between a bag and an illuminated screen?
At the B&E Goulandris Foundation’s creative workshop “Illuminated Screens!”, children aged 7 to 9 explore Roy Lichtenstein’s work and techniques and then print a unique pattern on a fabric bag that they can take home with them!
The programme is designed to help children discover the balance and contrasts between warm and cool colours and learn the process of making a pattern. The children make stencils, seek all possible combinations on screens and then practice screen printing, while drawing inspiration from Roy Lichtenstein’s works.
* The ink used at the workshop is child safe and eco-friendly.
** Please keep in mind that children’s clothes might get stained, so you are advised to dress them appropriately.
