On MONDAY, MARCH 20 , curator of the exhibition "Nouveau réalisme" Marie Koutsomallis-Moreau will conduct two guided tours , at 17.00 and at 18.00 , where she will analyse different aspects of the new realism art movement which has left an indelible mark on the 20th century. The guided tours will take place in Greek.
New realism, the explosive, revolutionary movement between Dada and Pop Art that radically changed 20th century art , emerged at a turning point in History when art ceased being called modern and became contemporary. Some of its 13 members became well-known artists who have left their mark on art. The B&E Goulandris Foundation is held in collaboration with international organisations , including Centre Pompidou in Paris.
