What can we create with a black drawer, a LED bulb, a gel printing plate and lots of ink?
At the workshop “Secret drawer” children aged 8 to 12 draw inspiration from Nakis Panayotidis’ work and “hide” an imaginary memory from a dreamy place in a bright, secret drawer.
Using the striking gelli plate* printing technique they experiment with image transfers and play with three-dimensional textures and motifs on the printing plate, until their imaginary landscape acquires the shape they have dreamed of.
* a special gel printing plate where photographs from magazines, stencils and other materials are often used.
