On Saturday February 15 and Sunday February 16 classical music will meet visual arts, as the B&E Goulandris Foundation joins forces once more with the Athens Conservatoire for five recitals with five of the conservatory’s honours degree graduates at the Foundation’s Amphitheatre.

The graduates who distinguished themselves at the Conservatory’s winter exams will present masterpieces by great classical composers and other works. Saturday February 15 will feature two piano recitals by Loukas Dellios and Stavros Prentzas and Sunday February 16 will feature a tuba recital by Spyros Droggitis-Giakoumelos, a flute recital by Kali Baldou and a cello recital by Elena Ghika.

Focusing on the co-existence of different forms of art and the promotion of young artists, the Foundation and the Athens Conservatoire give every year the opportunity to selected Conservatory graduates to enrich their musical skills by performing in a venue dedicated to visual arts.
