How quickly does time go by?

On the occasion of the tribute to photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, the B&E Goulandris Foundation invites children aged 9 to 12 to travel back in time.

Focusing on the photographer’s three trips to Greece in 1937, 1953 and 1961, we observe photographs of the past and explore a country that looks rather different from today’s Greece. Cities of another time, colourless, meet their modern counterparts. Using Cartier-Bresson’s works as a starting point children use different means and materials to create a new moment where the past meets the present.
