On Saturday September 21, World Alzheimer’s Day, the B&E Goulandris Foundation in collaboration with the Hellenic Initiative Against Alzheimer’s is hosting a conference about Alzheimer’s that will feature presentations by experts as well as an “Ask the experts” section, so that the audience can get answers to any related issues they might be concerned with.

The conference is addressed to carers, students as well as all interested parties and will start at 18.30 at the Foundation’s Amphitheatre with informative speeches by Constantine Lyketsos, Professor of Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Chair of HIAAD, Panagiotis Vlamos, Director of the Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology Lab (BiHELab) of the Ionian University and Chair of HIAAD as well as Notis Paraskevopoulos, Vice-Chair of HIAAD.

At the “Ask the experts” section that will follow the speeches, the audience will have the opportunity to get informed about any Alzheimer’s-related issues, by addressing their questions to Professor of Neurology at the Athens School of Medicine Nikolaos Skarmeas, psychologist and Scientific Head of the Ioannina Dementia Day Centre Maria-Lambrini Koula as well as Constantine Lyketsos.
