Wassily Kandinsky

An exhibition dedicated to Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944) was presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Andros.

In total, 65 works (water-colours, gouaches and drawings) were presented, having been brought from the Guggenheim Museum of New York, the Musée National d'Art Moderne-Centre Georges Pompidou of Paris, the Lenbachaus Pinakothek of Munich and private collections.

Photographic material from different periods in the life of the artist formed the introduction for the exhibition which was accompanied by a fully illustrated, bilingual catalogue (French, Greek) of the works.
