Joan Miró’s fascinating grasshopper becomes the starting point for a magical journey into the world of surrealism, that lets our imagination run wild!

Can you picture a seabed inside a city or a city inside a seabed? What would our planet be like if order and harmony were replaced by imagination? If you close your eyes, can you make your own, unique planet, using only your imagination?

Children aged 3 and 4, together with a parent/guardian, first get acquainted with the work of Joan Miró and then try to make their own planet out of cardboard and other materials, while learning all about collage. The workshop activates the children’s imagination and helps them turn their ideas into constructions.

* We recommend that children wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Alternatively, you may bring along an old shirt which they can wear over their clothes during the workshop.
