The B&E Goulandris Foundation’s programme “Time for music at the Museum!”, that takes place in collaboration with the De Profundis string orchestra, starts once again with a renewed programme, inviting parents with children from 8 months old up to 2 years old to get acquainted with the Museum and its Collection of artworks through music!

The children get to know the Museum and travel around the world through the Collection’s works of art and the music of great composers. With the help of the experienced musicians of the De Profundis Ensemble, they learn key elements of music such as rhythm, dynamics and motifs, surrounded by the unique works of art of the B&E Goulandris Foundation’s Collection.

The programme consists of monthly series and each month is dedicated to a different country. The children get acquainted with different composers as well as paintings by artists of the selected country.

Every first Sunday of the month, at the Acquaintance with the Orchestra concert the entire orchestra performs all the works presented at the Saturdays of the previous month.
