Workshop for children aged 5-6
As they explore the B&E Goulandris Foundation’s temporary exhibition “Memories Steeped in Dream”, children aged 5 and 6 discover the magical world of Fernand Léger, a world inspired by the circus, and then make their own constructions!
The acrobats, the jugglers, the colours and all the contrasts of the circus world fascinated Léger, who tried to convey the sense of movement and freedom through round forms.
The children first explore the temporary exhibition to draw inspiration and get ideas and then go to the Children’s Workshop, where they experiment with various materials such as cardboard, markers and beads and make their own compositions.
*We recommend that children wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Alternatively, you may bring along an old shirt which they can wear over their clothes during the workshop.

* Children taking part in the workshop are advised to be at the Museum 10’ before the workshop starts.
